For
the 13th year in a row brave passengers strípped on the subway as
they travelled trouser-less around cities all over the globe.
The annual 'No Pánts Subway Ride' saw people all over the world stríp off for their daily commute.
Brave
passengers from New York to London, Berlin to Sydney and Hong Kong,
travelled trouserless as part of a tradition that has now gone back 13
years.
The
event was the brainchild of group Improv Everywhere in the Big Apple in
2002, when they decided to add a bit of shock value to the daily grind.
On its website, the group said: "The
mission started as a small prank with seven guys and has grown into an
international celebration of silliness, with dozens of cities around the
world participating each year."
Its creator Charlie Toddsaid: "It is just about fun, and providing a laugh and a smile."
For Charlie, participants should act completely normal for the best reactions from fellow commuters.
He added:
"Act normal. Remember to keep a straight face.
"Act normal. Remember to keep a straight face.
If somebody tells you you have no pánts, just say you forgot, and yes it's cold, yes it's unfortunate."
